We all have different backgrounds and origins, talents and passions. We are working daily in diverse teams, yet we do not always feel part of it. Our values and ways of working are not always appreciated. The essence of diversity is precisely that we are all very good at very different things. And yet, having a mix of team members is not sufficient, we need to make the mix work. This is the case in many organisations, including universities and research institutes. What are the unconscious processes that take place in our organisation, research group or team? How can we discover them? How are we influenced by stereotyping, biases and unconscious inequity? What direct actions can we take? These are questions we will be answering together in this interactive workshop.
